Setting up your web site!

Congratulations on deciding to build a presence on the world wide web! We're happy you've taken this step and are here to answer any questions you have as we go through this process together.

There are a few preliminary steps you need to take before we can design your site for you. These two steps are registering for a domain name and registering for a hosting package.
A domain name gives you www.somesite.com
Hosting is what you need to make your www.somesite.com appear on the World Wide Web.

Step 1: Register A Domain Name

If you have not yet done so, you will need to register a domain name. If you have a domain name registered already, please email us all of the information you have on your domain account and provider. We will need this information to set up your web site. Click here to skip to Step 2 if you have a domain name.

Domain name prices may vary depending on the suffix of your domain is (i.e. .com, .org, .us, etc). Generally prices start at $6.99 USD per year and go up from there. We recommend registering the domain name for a period of 2-5 years.

When you have registered, you will receive several emails. Be sure to forward these emails to us so we may have that information on file.

Step 2: Register for Web Site Hosting

We work with Hosting Zoom and their family of companies. They have the exact requirements we need to design and deploy your site, and they offer excellent packages. Your designer will tell you what sort of account you will need to sign up for.

Prices below are in US Dollars. These sites take all major credit cards, e-Checks and Paypal as forms of payment.

Virtual Private Server:

VPS stands for Virtual Private Servers. VPS is an isolated server that share the hardware of a single physical server however performs like a stand-alone server where you can run your own applications, it can be rebooted independently, has its own root access, ip's, users, memory, processes, ports, etc.
